Role Pins: Enamel pins to celebrate your TTRPG characters

Created by Joff Brown

A series of thirteen pins representing the classes and subclasses of Dungeons & Dragons.

Latest Updates from Our Project:

They're almost here!
over 4 years ago – Mon, Oct 21, 2019 at 06:51:21 PM

With the hope that I don't jinx myself, I'm very excited that the pins are expected to be in-hand this Wednesday (October 23)!

Next steps are:

  • quality control to remove any pins that are nicked, dinged or otherwise have a flaw
  • assembling with backer cards and placing in individual poly bags

Together with several friends and volunteers, we'll be packing and shipping pins in the near future (fingers crossed, starting this weekend). Please bear with me as I check, assemble, and mail the pins. I want to avoid as many errors as possible so there'll be plenty of double- and triple-checking.

My intent is to have them all in the mail by the end of October. There'll be further updates and notifications when they ship. International backers may experience delays depending on their country's customs.

Thanks again for supporting me and RolePins. I very much appreciate your patience as I work to fulfill the campaign.

Important: Production delayed
over 4 years ago – Thu, Oct 10, 2019 at 01:40:24 AM

With sincere apologies, there has unfortunately been a delay with manufacturing the enamel pins. They are still in production and should be in-hand within the next week.

I will then focus on packing and shipping pins so that you receive them ASAP.

Thanks again for your continued patience and understanding. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

RolePins are in production
over 4 years ago – Sat, Sep 21, 2019 at 01:14:17 AM

A quick update: artwork for all 13 pins has been finalized and approved. Unfortunately, the process took longer than originally anticipated. This means that I likely won't receive the pins until early/mid October. Obviously, this effects how soon I can get the pins packaged and shipped to you. I beg your forgiveness for the delay and hope you understand.

In the meantime, backer cards have been designed, ordered, and are in-hand! I'll be confirming and ordering shipping supplies in the next few days.

Thanks again for backing the project and your patience while the pins are being manufactured.

RolePins have been ordered!
over 4 years ago – Tue, Sep 10, 2019 at 04:36:40 PM

Fantastic news!

With survey results in and final numbers calculated, orders have been placed for the thirteen different designs. Artwork was triple-checked by yours truly and is currently being reviewed by the manufacturer. As artwork is being finalized for print, I'm verifying and signing-off on proofs.

Barring issues, we're on schedule for having the pins in-hand and mailed early October. I'll communicate any hiccups or delays immediately.

Thanks again for backing the project and your patience as the pins are manufactured.

Thanks kindly!
